Hi friends with mrgrantlee7!! It’s been a while since I updated my blog in English and here you go.

Six days from the infamous double 11 promotion moment, I haven’t actually bought anything myself…Believe I will later…My mindset for consumerism has evolved, and so have many other small habits. Share some of the reflections I have recently.

Know your body – Know your limit, know what give you energies and what consume you energies. It is important to find and keep the balance. It’s long game. Not too high, not too low.

Know yourself – The most challenging question – Every now and then I ask myself this question and there are countless times I wonder should I strictly follow my original plan, or go with the opportunities. Either way, good to pause and reflect the meaning of life in general.

Know what you want and are willing to suffer – The subtle art of not giving a fuck has said it well. Don’t ask what you want, but what you are willing to suffer. The people that I admire, are capable of suffering much more than the normal people, and that’s why they achieve what others can’t. But this also comes with knowing yourself and body first because essentially, knowing your mental and physical limit are both critical to help you form a more balanced & sustainable life / lifestyle.

Be optimistic – Saw a quote from a stranger’s Instagram – “Be happy and lucky.” Read this ten times and this makes a ton of sense. Emotion is contagious. You can be the ambassador to spread joy, or be the one to share resentment. But I believe most people prefer to make friends with the former one.

Design-Thinking – This one is more relevant to sport, lifestyle, and fashion industry. Since COVID-19, BCI, and digital transformation taking place for the past couple years, the industry has been completely re-shaped. There are all kinds of macro-economic and consumer index that tell you why, but most importantly, the companies that truly understand the value of “Design-Thinking” are the ones winning the game.

“I think that there might be too many MBAs running companies … There should be more focus on the product or service itself, less time on board meetings, less time on financials.” – Quote from Elon Musk.

Personally, I think the focus on design-thinking toward a more human-centered product, service, and experiences should be doubled down. Plus solid storytelling…

Zoom in, zone out, welcome to the final 8 weeks of 2023!

Biggest change this year is to pick up the running shoes and run more and for distance. Running, seeing, feeling, and thinking. Not too bad! Plus, the weather has been awesome!

Slowly and surely. Every step counts

Send time to the bund. Nothing short of amazing.

The street with 100+ years of histories…

I had 7 meals of Japanese foods for the past week….
